These scholarships are open for students currently studying a property or construction-related course at tertiary level. Each scholarship comes with one year’s financial assistance of $5,000 towards course costs/ accommodation/ travel costs/living /tuition costs, the experience of being directly supported and mentored by a Key Scholarship Partner company team member, site visits, industry networking opportunities, student workshops, access to engaged alumni plus all the benefits of being part of the Keystone family

The Prize recognises an emerging scientist who has had their PhD or equivalent qualification conferred within the last eight years. The Prize has a value of NZD$200,000, of which NZD$150,000 must be used to support the recipient’s ongoing work.

This Prize is for a transformative scientific1 advance, which has had a significant economic, health, social, political, cultural and/or environmental impact on New Zealand, or internationally. It will be awarded to a team or an individual instrumental in creating the impact. The transformative scientific1 advance may have occurred over any time-period and there must be a clear indication that the impact on New Zealand or internationally has taken place.
1 Scientific should be interpreted broadly to include natural, physical, mathematical and information sciences, applied science, technology, engineering, social science and multi-disciplinary science
- The total value of the Prize is $500,000.
- $100,000 of this will go directly to the team or individual with no expectations.
- $400,000 will be used to support ongoing research

The Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships program provides funding to the very best postdoctoral applicants, both nationally and internationally, who will positively contribute to the country’s economic, social and research-based growth.
The value of the Fellowship is $70,000 per year for two years.

Members of New Zealand’s Chinese community are being invited to apply for funding from the current funding round of the Chinese Poll Tax Heritage Trust. The Trust aims to create heightened understanding of the Chinese community within New Zealand and strengthen the unique identity of Chinese New Zealanders.
The Chinese Poll Tax Heritage Trust provides recognition of the hardship caused by the poll tax, and is a gesture of goodwill to
poll tax payers, their descendants, and future generations.

The criteria for application is a project that reflects a clear and concise Theological connection, where the medium of delivery can be either written or visual.
The Scholarship offers the successful applicant a supportive and encouraging space, and place, to work on their specific project.
Applicants can be lay or ordained; holding a recognised level of tertiary education; committed to an approved subject of study; and able to reside at Vaughan Park for the period of the Scholarship.
A comfortable, en-suite studio and all meals are provided for the duration of the Scholarship period awarded.
Applications may be made for either a one or two-month-long residency. The Scholarship period is available throughout the year, with the exception of January and December (noting the Centre will be closed over the Easter period). In your application, please indicate three preferences for the months when you would be able to undertake your study.

The objectives of the Foundation are to support high quality research in New Zealand into studies that address problems in mental health, by providing funding for studies into their epidemiology, aetiology, pathology, clinical presentation, intervention or prevention or towards any one or more related objects or purposes which are charitable in accordance with the law of New Zealand, which related objects and purposes are declared to be the objects and purposes of the Trust.

CPA Australia offers up to two scholarships annually for persons of Māori descent. One scholarship will be awarded to a current tertiary student and one scholarship to a current professional. The scholarships will be awarded each October to the best-qualified applications based on tertiary academic results and will assist recipients to meet education requirements needed to attain CPA status. Scholarship recipients will be exempt from all CPA Program subject fees and first year membership fees as an Associate (ASA).

The Polish Charitable and Educational Trust offers grants to students of Polish descent. Students can apply for a reimbursement of course fees, cost of their textbooks and other course related costs.

The award was established by the Society in memory of Keith Maurice Blumhardt, William Edward Cooper, Douglas Neil McKenzie, Derek Ian White and Marie Pauline Williams, who died on Mt Ruapehu while testing helicopter rescue equipment in December 1982. The award is open annually to any applicant for study concerned with: flora, fauna, geology, vulcanology, weather and natural and human history of Tongariro National Park. Amounts awarded are up to $2,500.

The Adastra Foundation provides scholarships to extraordinary young New Zealanders and supports athletes, musicians and performing artists. The scholarship includes funding, personal development workshops and customised individual learning. It is a performance-based scholarship, not an academic scholarship.
