Aniva Future Pacific Nurse Leaders is a support programme for undergraduate and pre-registration nursing students of indigenous Pacific Island ancestry. All Aniva Future Leaders students receive a grant each semester to assist with the nursing specific costs of study such as, health screening, vaccinations, equipment, uniform and clinical placement travel. Aniva Future Leaders also provides networking events with senior Pacific Nurses to explore a wide range of nursing roles. Examination bootcamps and state nursing registration examination support is also supported.

Leadership Network Travel Fund:
This supports members of the network in travelling to attend opportunities that help with their further study, leadership, professional development, or building of Asian expertise and networks. Because of current international border restrictions, the travel fund will now support leadership network members to travel within New Zealand. Grants are worth up to NZD $500 to cover travel or accommodation costs.

The Canadian Studies Program funds research and teaching in Canadian studies. The term ‘Canadian studies’ is defined as research in the humanities or social sciences which aims at a better understanding of Canadian society and or culture. Purely scientific subjects and proposals that focus exclusively on technological or methodological issues are not eligible.

EPIK is the national English teaching program sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. The mission of EPIK is to improve the English-speaking abilities of students within the public schools and to aid in the advancement of English education in Korea. The English Program is for 1 year.
Eligibility:
- Have received a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Be citizen of either Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, UK, USA
- Be fluent and proficient in the English language.

The Frank Sydenham Trust Scholarships are for students from schools within the Bay of Plenty Regional Council area who are pursuing a post graduate qualification in one of the areas i.e. the field of agriculture or related subjects, such as forestry and agriculture.

DAAD provides a range of grants and scholarships for study in Germany, including graduate scholarships, research grants, winter courses, study visits, and extension studies for artists.
Applicants are generally expected to be NZ nationals; foreign nationals may be eligible if they are permanent residents of New Zealand. Temporary residents need to prove that they have been long-term residents of New Zealand for at least six years and that they intend to remain in New Zealand for the foreseeable future.

HERA offers scholarships to Masters and PhD students undertaking full-time research. The scholarships are typically linked to heavy engineering industry related research proposals administered by HERA, however scholarship applicants are also able to submit their own research project proposal.
Applications are open year round, with approval between March and April.

- The Navy and Air Force offer a Bursary Scholarship Scheme for school leavers and undergraduates, covering fees, study expenses and an $8,000 living allowance.
- The Navy, Army and Air Force offer the Tū Ako Graduate Incentive Scholarship Scheme for university graduates in a broad range of subjects, including engineering, computer science, business and health.

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand is now offering two $10,000 Scholarships each year to students who are majoring in economics, finance or banking and who are entering their Honours, Masters or final year of PhD study. Students must have attained at least a B+ average.
In addition to the ten thousand dollars, an offer of employment is provided at the completion of your qualification. International students, legally entitled to work in New Zealand, are welcome to apply.

This Reserve Bank Scholarship is open to Māori and Pacific Island university students who have completed economics, finance and banking studies at the 100 level (completed 1st year of university), who attained at least a B+ grade and who intend to continue studying to Honours level. Applicants must be studying full time at a New
Zealand university. The Scholarship will be continued for the original holder up to honours level (4th year) providing the holder continues to perform to the required standard.
The Scholarship is valued at $1,500 in the first year, is increased to $2,500 in the second year and to $3,500 in the final year of study. A mentoring programme is included.

The New Zealand Coastal Society prides itself in giving out multiple awards each calendar year. These awards are designed to recognise both professional and student achievement and merit in the study or advocacy of issues related to the betterment of New Zealand's coastal resources. TeRūnanga-Ā-IwiONgāpuhi(‘theRūnanga’) introduced and established the Ngāpuhi Education Scholarships in 2003. The overall aim of the Ngāpuhi Education Scholarships is to assist students registered on the Ngāpuhi Iwi Register to:
- Fulfil their potential for academic success;
- Encourage applicants to contribute their knowledge and skills towards the wellbeing and development of Ngāpuhi whānau, hapū and iwi.
- Bachelor Degree:
- 15x$500Disbursements- University Entrance/NCEA Award– available to school leavers, entering into their first year of tertiary study.
