Te Rōpū Manukura
Te Rōpū Manukura safeguards the Treaty of Waitangi for the University of Waikato. Its members, representing various iwi, are led by Chair Ngāreta Timutimu (Ngāi Te Rangi).
Te Rōpū Manukura is established as a committee of the Council. Te Rōpū Manukura, in partnership with the University Council, is the Kaitiaki (guardian) of the Treaty of Waitangi for the University of Waikato.
Te Rōpū Manukura is currently made up of members from a number of different iwi within the catchment area of the University. Te Rōpū Manukura is chaired by Ngāreta Timutimu (Ngāi Te Rangi, Ngāti Ranginui).
