International student events
The Waikato student experience is memorable. We welcome all people from different cultures and ideas and strive to make sure you enjoy your time here in New Zealand and at Waikato.
The International Student Services office hosts events throughout the year to help you get adjusted to life in New Zealand and celebrate your time at the University. These events are also a good opportunity for you to network with other international students.
International Day
With our diverse staff and student culture, it is important to us that we celebrate this. Each year, we celebrate international day showcasing the cultures here on our Hamilton campus through food, music, performance and more.
Student Trips
Throughout the year, our International Student Services team hosts a range of trips for our international students to experience New Zealand and make new friends.
