Shalini Guleria

Shalini came to Waikato to study a Bachelor of Engineering, and chose Waikato for its central location and collaborative culture.

I’m so grateful that I chose this path because thanks to Waikato, I discovered my passion for research.

After completing her Bachelor degree, she enrolled in a Master of Science during which time she had the idea to create the Science Box after hearing a young girl say that science was 'too hard'. The programme was developed to bring back the magic of science to young kids.
