For Māori and/or Pacific students wanting to pursue pathways into academic careers.

Eligibility

For applicants of Māori and/or Pacific descent who are NZ Citizens or permanent residents and will be enrolling full-time in a doctoral qualification.

Applicants must be planning to undertake part or all of their study at a University other than the University of Waikato. Exposure to different ways of thinking, collaboration with academics from other intuitions ensures recipients will be competitive for positions on academic staff.
