This paper discusses electromagnetic wave phenomena using classical electromagnetic theory. The solutions of Maxwell's equations are analysed and applied to a range of physics and engineering problems like plane waves, Hertzian dipoles, waves in media, reflection and transmission, waveguides and resonators.
