This paper provides primary care registered nurses with the knowledge, skill and nursing judgement to provide care and support for people to manage their health and wellbeing within the primary healthcare context. The paper provides opportunities for registered nurses to initiate innovative approaches that are responsive to community and individual family and whānau needs.
