This paper requires students to engage with the Innovation Station with the view to developing a project with entrepreneurial outcomes. This paper either focusses on scoping out the feasibility, potential, and market for such a project, and/or it focusses on developing this idea into a proof of concept. The student will likely work independently, but with the assistance of an industry based mentor and a university based-researcher. The idea does not need to end in a success - in fact many projects may prove to be unsuccessful by either being unachievable, financially/technically unfeasible, or not marketable.
This project could be hosted by the Innovation Station. If so, it requires resources from the relevant faculty, and EFT sharing arrange to be in place.
