Mature students at the University of Waikato
We define mature students as those aged 20 or older who have been out of formal education for some time. This includes:
- Returning students: People who have previously attended university but are now pursuing a different course or postgraduate qualification.
- New students: Individuals who haven't attended university before.
As a mature student, you bring a wealth of life experience and practical skills to your studies. These qualities can be a real asset in the university environment.
