Guest registration and tickets for graduation

Secure guest tickets for graduation! Register via Eventbrite for The Pā, Hamilton venue. Tauranga Campus offers three complimentary guest tickets, plus live-streaming and refreshments.

As a graduand you do not require a ticket for yourself. Complimentary ticket allocation is different depending on the ceremony venue, so please read carefully.

The Pā – Hamilton

Graduation tickets are free, however, it is essential that you register the number of guests you are bringing so our teams can plan accordingly.

To complete guest registrations, please select the link below and enter your Student ID as the ‘Promo Code’ to access the relevant ceremony and redeem the complimentary tickets required. (Please note: Graduands do not need a ticket).

Redeem Guest Tickets

To manage seating capacity at the venue, each graduand is entitled to 5 complimentary tickets. If you have requested additional tickets, our team will be in touch with you to advise what is possible.

If you have additional guests who would like to celebrate with you, they are welcome to join us on campus. The ceremonies will be livestreamed to a large screen outside the venue and the Village Green, and food and drink will be available throughout the day. You will then be able to join your guests immediately following your ceremony.

Tauranga Campus – Tauranga

If you are graduating, you don't require a ticket for your ceremony. You will be entitled to THREE complimentary tickets for guests to attend your graduation ceremony inside the theatre.

If you have additional guests who would like to celebrate with you, they are welcome to join us on campus. The ceremonies will be live-streamed to a large screen on the ātea, and food and drink will be served throughout the day - you will then be able to join them immediately following your ceremony.

Instructions to secure tickets

  1. Go to the Eventbrite page
    • Tickets for Hamilton Graduation
    • Tickets for Tauranga Graduation
    • Note: tickets available approximately three weeks before graduation
  2. Click 'Get Tickets'
  3. Enter your Student ID as the 'Promo Code'
  4. Click 'Apply'
  5. Select number of tickets for the relevant ceremony
  6. Fill out the required information and click 'Register'

All ceremonies will be livestreamed to the University’s Facebook page, as well as big screens outside the venue. Note: Graduands themselves do not require a ticket.
