Join our one-day short course 'Project Management: The Basic Principles' on 8 May at Waikato Management School in Hamilton.

Effective project management executes and delivers positive change in an organisation.

This practical workshop introduces the basic principles and processes of project management, as well as being able to recognise, assess and mitigate risk within projects.

You will also learn technical skills, such as developing a project plan, critical path analysis, and Gantt charting.

The course also touches on critical people skills needed for managing key stakeholders, such as motivating, influencing and managing intergroup conflict.

This short course will be facilitated by Michael Hamid, an Associate at Company X who has more than 30 years’ experience as a project manager. It will be held at the University of Waikato's Hamilton campus on Thursday, 8 May (9am to 4pm).
