Management and Sustainability Subject regulations

PGCert(MgtStn)[1], PGDip(MgtStn)[1] and MBus[1] The qualification regulations define the subject requirements for the PGCert(MgtStn), PGDip(MgtStn) and MBus.
PGCert(MgtStn) students must include 60 points from ACCTN541, ECONS515, LCOMM584, MAORI502, POLSC537, STMGT580 and THMGT502.
PGDip(MgtStn) students must include 60 points from ECONS515, LCOMM584 and STMGT580, and 30 points from ACCTN541, MAORI502, MGSUS591, POLSC537 and THMGT502.
MBus students must complete MNGMT581, one of MGSUS591, MGSUS592, MGSUS593 or MGSUS594; and include 60 points from ECONS515, LCOMM584 and STMGT580. Students taking the 120 point MBus are required to complete at least 60 points from the papers listed for the subject. Students taking the 180 point MBus are required to complete at least 120 points from the papers listed for the subject.

[1] There will be no new intake into the PGCert(MgtStn), PGDip(MgtStn) and MBus in 2025.

PhD The Doctor of Philosophy is a three year research-based degree in which students undertake a programme of approved and supervised research that leads to a thesis which critically investigates an approved topic of substance and significance, demonstrates expertise in the methods of research and scholarship, displays intellectual independence and makes a substantial original contribution to the subject area concerned, and is of publishable quality.
