Zubair Moughal

Zubair is currently completing a PhD in Mathematics at the University of Waikato. His passion has led him to enter the field of inhomogeneous cosmology which sees him evaluating mathematical solutions that have spiky behaviour which is related to the structure formation.

Waikato has provided Zubair with the skills needed to approach computational techniques in a skilled way, knowledge of which he will take with him into the research field. Zubair says the “learning facilities here are extraordinary”, and he believes “the faculty and teaching resources are one the finest in New Zealand”.

Once Zubair has finished his PhD he plans on returning home to Pakistan to enter into research work over there.
