Cameron Pearce

Upon completing a Bachelor of Science, Cameron says he chose to return to study at Waikato and pursue a BCompSc to “expand his skill set and fill in the gaps of his previous degree”.

“I love the sheer variety of subjects my degree has offered throughout my study. I’ve learnt new skills and ways of thinking that would have otherwise been difficult without the structure of a degree to guide me.”

During his time studying, he discovered a hidden passion for computer science. Despite having a background in science, he is now looking ahead to a new career in computing. His hopes are pinned on a junior developer role where he can utilise and develop the skills he’s obtained throughout his degree.
