Donor
The Braemar Charitable Trust Scholarship in Nursing was established in 2021 through the generous donation of the Braemar Charitable Trust. The Trust aims to improve health outcomes in our communities and to advance health equity and access.
Eligibility
Up to two $10,000 scholarships will be awarded each year to domestic students enrolled in their second year of full-time study towards a Bachelor of Nursing and are from populations, communities and/or regions typically under-represented in nursing who might not otherwise be able to access education.
The scholarship is specifically for those who reside in the Waikato Waikato District Health Board region and intend to pursue a career in nursing in the wider Waikato DHB region upon graduation.
