The Braemar Charitable Trust Scholarship in Health was established in 2021 through the generous donation of the Braemar Charitable Trust. The Trust aims to improve health outcomes in our communities and to advance health equity and access.

Eligibility

One $10,000 scholarship will be awarded each year to a domestic student enrolled in their second year of full-time study towards a Bachelor of Health who is from a population, community and/or region typically under-represented in health who might not otherwise be able to access education.

The scholarship is specifically for those who reside in the Waikato Waikato District Health Board region and intend to pursue a career in healthcare in the wider Waikato DHB region upon graduation.
