This paper provides students with a firm grounding in fundamental aspects of Populations Studies. Students explore the demographic foundations upon which Population Studies is built, and examine the societal causes and consequences of population change through a multidisciplinary lens. Students will gain an appreciation of the role that population composition and change has on a range of real world issues.
