An examination of work in the cognitive science of religion with a focus on its implications for analytic philosophy of religion. Students will familiarize themselves with research in the cognitive science of religion that is relevant to core topics in philosophy of religion and critically evaluate the relationship between them. They will explore whether and how philosophy of religion could benefit from using such research and what difference it could make to the way philosophy of religion is done.
