This paper explores what it means to be a lifelong and lifewide learner. Learning is a universal human activity that takes place in a variety of contexts. This paper explores the concept of the lifelong and lifewide learner, theories of how we learn, barriers and challenges to learning, and the relationship of context to learning.
In class and online you will be invited to research, contextualise and incorporate your own learning experiences to support understanding of your learner identity, and contribute to the development of philosophies of education to last a lifetime.
