This paper covers aspects of organic chemistry including electrophilic aromatic substitution, reaction mechanisms with carbanion and radical intermediates and mechanisms of reactions of carbonyl groups. An introduction to interpretation of proton and carbon nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra is provided.
