Kaimai Shuttle

Free shuttle between Hamilton and Tauranga campuses on a first-come first-served basis. See info about services, routes, timetables; don't forget to register before you book.

This service is available to enrolled students who live in one region and are required to travel from one campus to the other for classes, research supervision, or matters that are related to their university study. It is expected that students book a return trip on the same day.

The service is also available to staff who are required to work across both campuses. Manager approval is required.

The 7am Tauranga to Hamilton and 5.15pm return vehicle is usually a bus rather than a van.

The Kaimai Shuttle runs Monday to Friday during teaching weeks of Trimesters A, B and C, and teaching periods G and H (excluding public holidays). It does not run during teaching recesses, study and exam weeks.
