What is Studiosity?
Studiosity is a free online external study help service for all undergraduate and taught postgraduate students at Waikato University, available 24/7 to provide guidance and feedback on your academic writing skills. You can submit a maximum of ten submissions per trimester.
How does Studiosity work?
Constructive writing feedback in less than 24 hours.
Upload your written draft and an English subject specialist will send it back to you with comments, suggestions and encouragement for how you can improve your own work.
We all get ‘stuck’ sometimes, and working through these barriers is an essential part of learning. So if you need help in improving your writing, Studiosity is there for you. The Studiosity team provides tailored comments on grammar, spelling, structure, and readability to show you where to focus attention for improvement through their Writing Feedback services.
Subject Specialists from Studiosity offer constructive writing feedback in less than 24 hours. If you're working on an essay or assignment (or any piece of writing) and would like to get feedback on how to improve it, upload it to Studiosity any time of day or night, and a subject specialist will send it back to you in less than 24 hours with detailed feedback on how you can improve your writing.
When viewing your reviewed document, you can click on highlighted sections of text to see specific comments in the comments bar, or select all focus areas at once to see all comments in one place. If you want a good old-fashioned hard copy of your document, you can click on Download PDF or Print in the top right-hand-corner.
This service does not check whether you have answered your assignment task.
If you need assistance on study skills or how to interpret assignment instructions (or you would like to discuss another academic learning matter), please contact Student Learning.
