The Student Health Service provides integrated and holistic care tailored to support your well-being.
Our services acknowledge the mana whenua of Kīngi Tuheitia and te whānau Kāhui Āriki. Built upon the whenua of Ngāti Wairere, Student Health’s culturally diverse team of experts embody Tā Mason Durie's Te Whare Tapa Wha model of practice. Our intention is for an integrated service were ngā taha hīnengaro, wairua, tīnana and whānau can be supported and enhanced for tauira during their studies.

Student Health Hamilton Campus
To book an appointment, call us at (07) 838 4037 or book online through our patient portal if you have access.
For urgent concerns, ask to speak to a clinician who will assess your concern over the phone and navigate you to appropriate care or advice.
Before your first visit to Student Health, you must complete an online enrolment form. Students who wish to keep their current GP can still sign up to be seen on a casual basis for urgent health concerns but should note that routine doctor appointments are only available to enrolled patients. Causal fees apply. Mental Health & Wellbeing services are available and free to all students.
Student Health Tauranga
Our Tauranga students have access to a range of different services, both on campus and off campus to ensure that they are safe and healthy; physically, mentally, socially and spiritually. On campus the student health nurse can support with any concerns you may have. They are located on Level 1, room 1.25, behind the Hub. This service is free to students.
Off campus students have access to the physio and GP services, free counselling, mental health services and violence prevention through external providers. Some of these services are provided at a discounted rate with referral from our campus nurse.

Enrolment forms
Fees and enrolment at Student Health only applies to General Practice appointments. All other services provided are free.
