Regulations for the Graduate Diploma in Engineering Management (GradDipEM)
- The Personal Programmes of Study Regulations apply in these regulations.
Admission
- Candidates for the Graduate Diploma must have qualified for admission to the University of Waikato and gained at least 360 points under the BE(Hons), or equivalent.
Requirements for the Graduate Diploma
- The normal minimum period of enrolment for completion of the Graduate Diploma is two years.
- Candidates must enrol in the Division of Health, Engineering, Computing and Science and follow an approved programme of study.
- Candidates must gain 120 points at 200 level or above, including 75 points at 300 level or above.
- Candidates must complete ENGEN270, ENGEN372 (30 points), ENGEN570, and 60 points from the list set out in the appendix to these regulations.
- Candidates must complete the requirements of the BE(Hons), or equivalent, to be awarded the Graduate Diploma.
Variations
- The Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Division or delegated authority may vary or waive these regulations in individual cases.
