This complements other sacred songs including Bruckner’s “Os Justi”, a Gregorian chant inspired motet, sung a capella, Mozart’s “Ave Verum Corpus” and “Sure on this Shining Night” by Morten Lauridsen.

The concert will conclude with Ola Gjeilo’s “Luminous Night of the Soul”,composed in 2012 for choir, string quartet and piano.

“We are thrilled to present this concert programme which spans a wide range of sacred music and which celebrates the beauty of the human spirit and the power of faith”, says Music Director Koli Jayatunge.
